H|M Opportunity Engine is an intelligent platform that helps people discover opportunities and enables individuals and businesses to grow through practical AI and automation.
With the Starter Explore Account, users create their own profiles and independently browse overseas scholarships, healthcare opportunities in Zambia and abroad, and general employment opportunities across Zambia.
The Growth Automation Account provides a personalised, managed service. We configure and operate an automated opportunity-search system based on the user’s qualifications, experience and preferences. With the user’s permission, the system identifies suitable opportunities and prepares and submits applications on their behalf.
The Premium System Owner Account is designed for individuals and businesses that want their own customised automation system. We assess their needs, design and build the system, test it, and train the client or their team to operate it. We then provide the necessary documentation and hand over the completed system so the client can manage it independently. Additional maintenance and technical support may be arranged separately.
The H|M AI Academy is our dedicated training arm. It provides general AI education through practical courses, workshops and masterclasses for individuals, professionals and organisations. Participants learn how to use AI responsibly, improve productivity, automate routine tasks and understand the fundamentals of building AI agents. Academy training does not automatically include the development of a customised automation system.

H|M Opportunity Engine began when Dr. Harold Mayaba used AI and automation to improve how he searched for speaking, research and consulting opportunities. He realised that the same approach could help others overcome a common challenge: valuable jobs, scholarships and business opportunities are often scattered across many sources and easy to miss.
What started as a personal solution has grown into a practical platform that helps people discover and evaluate publicly advertised opportunities. Through H|M AI Academy, we also help individuals and organisations develop practical AI skills and intelligent automation for real-world work.

Meet the management team
Dr. Harold MAYABA
Founder & Managing Director: Dr. Harold Mayaba is an applied economist, AI systems strategist, agri-food consultant, lecturer and international speaker. He founded H|M Opportunity Engine to help individuals and organisations use AI to discover opportunities, make informed decisions and automate practical workflows. His work connects research, education, business strategy and technology across New Zealand, Zambia and wider African markets.
Abel Mulungwe
Marketing Manager: Abel Mulungwe is an economist and market research analyst with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics from Mulungushi University. He has experience in marketing strategy, competitor research, KPI monitoring, forecasting, data visualisation and team leadership at TRADEit Zambia, supported by previous data-collection experience with ZAMSTATS. He uses evidence and practical insights to support informed decision-making and sustainable business growth.
Howard Mayaba
General Manager: Howard Mayaba is a banking and real estate professional with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the Copperbelt University. At Stanbic Bank Zambia, he has worked in account maintenance and collateral operations. His wider experience includes property inspections, market research, valuation reporting, feasibility studies and residential and commercial asset appraisal. He brings practical knowledge of banking processes, property markets, land law and asset valuation.

How are referrals tracked and paid?
Your unique link records eligible introductions and completed purchases. Approved commissions are paid after the required verification and refund period.
